勞工節快樂！ 謝謝您們多年來對台美史料中心的支持，本期Newsletter再次恭賀台灣桃園龜山少棒獲得威廉波特世界少棒大賽亞軍，並簡略介紹近期刊登文章：美國駐名古屋領事館新任首席領事王涵（Anna Wang）日前就任，成為該館有史以來首位女性首席領事。王涵的父母都是台灣人，她曾在美國在台協會（AIT）工作4年，與台灣頗有淵源。

Happy Labor Day! We congratulated again for Taiwan won the second place of 2024 Little League World Series. Taiwan was a dominant team at the LLWS from 1969, when it won its first championship. In this month's newsletter, we provide a brief illustration of some articles recently posted on our website:
Principal Officer Anna Wang, Prior to her appointment to Consulate Nagoya in July 2024, Ms. Wang served as Political Unit Chief in the Office of Pakistan Affairs in the Bureau of South and Central Asia, where she managed the broad range of bilateral political issues.
