此次台美人紀錄片拍攝計畫是希望第一代台美人以祖父母的角度，把人生的智慧結晶、台灣及美國的生活經驗傳給第三或第四代台美人。希望新一代的台美人能對於其成長背景、文化有更深的認同。

美國「洛杉磯時報」（Los Angeles Times）8日正式任命台裔的唐泰芮（Terry Tang，音譯）為總編輯，她也成為該報創立142年以來首位出任該職的女性。
高銘憲醫師1964年來美後成為美國婦女骨盆科權威。在聖路易華盛頓大學醫學院設有最高榮譽的「醫學名人榜」，這是每五年由在各地執業的華大畢業醫生，選出一位對他們影響最深遠的老師。高銘憲醫師的名字被刻在這名人榜牆上，他也是有始以來第一位亞洲醫生登上此名人榜。

Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Promoting Taiwanese American Documentary and Recent Post
Dear Friends,
Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! It is a special time for us to celebrate the rich culture, history, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. It is a time to reflect on our shared heritage and honor the generations who have shaped our community.
At this special time, we would like to provide a brief illustration of some articles recently posted on our website:
Carlsbad man uses a single Taiwanese wax apple plant gifted to him 40 years ago, “Uncle Happy Farmer” transformed his San Diego-area backyard into a flourishing exotic fruit farm.
Terry Tang, who has been leading the Los Angeles Times newsroom since late January on an interim basis, has been formally named executive editor.
